Grade Fish Oil
is comprised of whole body fish oil from species such as tuna, anchovy and
sardines. Fish oil is low in saturated fat and contains more Omega 3 than many
servings of the fish meat. Fish oil is very rich in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)
and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). These essential fatty acids are stored in the
cell membranes of tissues, and have two primary functions:
First...
are structural components of cell membranes where they ensure fluidity,
stability, and act as gatekeepers in the cells.
Secondly...
they ensure the production of prostaglandins, hormone- like substances that
regulate many of the body functions, including heart rate, blood pressure, blood
clotting, fertility and conception. Prostaglandins also play a role in
regulating inflammation, which is a major characteristic of many immune
disorders. Prostaglandins both encourage the body to fight infection and prevent
the inflammatory response from getting out of control.
High Quality
Independent Canadian laboratories have verified this fish oil and found it to
contain very low levels of heavy metals, PCB's, and Dioxins, based on the
standards set by the Council For Responsible Nutrition and the World Health
Organization. Molecular Distillation, not only concentrates the EPA and DHA ,
but also works to remove toxins from highly sensitive fish oil.
